About Us
Founded in 1923, the Fox River Grove Fire Protection District prides itself in providing excellence and professionalism in life safety, fire prevention, and property conservation. The fire district provides service to an approximate population of 5,000 residents covering the village of Fox River Grove as well as portions of Barrington Hills and Algonquin. FRG FPD works closely with Auto-Aid and the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System responses to Cary, Nunda, Crystal Lake, Barrington, Barrington Countryside, Algonquin/Lake in the Hills, Huntley, Wauconda, McHenry, and many other villages and municipalities.

The Fox River Grove Fire Department is pleased to announce that it will be accepting donations for the “Toys for Tots” program throughout the month of December. Donations should consist of new toys that are still in their original packaging.
